Since finishing high-school in the late 90's I have been working with computers - my professional roles have run the gamut and have included administration, training, and, primarily, software development.
I have accrued a number of industry-standard certifications along the way, including the comptia A+ and I-net+, Microsoft's MCP (specifically, in SQL server) and MCSE, as well as the Zend Certified Engineer (ZCE).
In terms of more traditional tertiary education I have managed to complete a "formal" qualification in computer science, UNISA's "Certificate in datametrics", a Bachelor of Arts with majors in Classical cultures, Philosophy and Logic, and a BA honours degree in philosophy.
Work wise I've recently become very interested in Machine Learning and Data mining and am trying to, slowly, get to some level of competence in this field.
In terms of formal academic pursuits I'm working towards higher (graduate level) degrees in philosophy and cognitive science.
